How attendance works in EduSeat.

A plain-language guide to the full loop, session, scan, register, report, so your team knows the product inside out.

1. Open the session

The lecturer selects the course and starts attendance. EduSeat records the start time and shows a QR for that lecture only.

2. Students check in

Enrolled students scan from the mobile app. Each successful scan adds a unique student to the live register.

3. Handle exceptions

Late arrivals, absences and edge cases stay visible so staff can review before the session is closed.

4. Close and report

Ending the session locks the timeline. Admins and lecturers can review rates and export for boards when needed.
